I’m back.
You know you missed me.
After an emergency blogectomy things aren’t feeling very natural yet, but we’ll be establishing the new normalicy and returning some of the old favourites round here soon-ish.
But I guess you’re wondering what “geekent’s 365 things” is. Or maybe not.
But I’ll tell you.
This is a little bit of getting to know me, and also a bit of getting to know myself, as well as having a little fun. It’s about blogging, daily, but not having to overextend myself. It’s about content and quality and something meaningful without being burdensome. It won’t necessarily be pretty, or funny, but hopefully, if it’s anything, it’s structured.
I’ll have five categories:
[...about me] - which will eventually bring you 365 little known (or widely known) “facts” or stories about me
[...learned] - this is about embracing and sharing knowledge, or just doing/trying new things
[...I ate] - not really sure why I’m doing this, but I thought it’d be interesting to see if I could catalog 365 different foods to eat in a year
[...I consumed anew] - not-quite-reviews of books, comics, movies, television, music, theatre and the sort which were new to my eyes and ears in 2009
[...I consumed again] - more not-quite-re-reviews of books, comics, movies, etc… which I’m enjoying for at least a second time.
I intend to do all the above daily, perhaps not all at once, but this should mean, essentially 1825 posts in one year [5x365] which is borderline crazy when you put it that way.
But I may just have a lot of time on my hands, or none at all. It’s an experiment, hopefully, and not a burden.
