…well, it’s a fetus anyway, with girl-representative chromasomes.
Our little communion alien is growing, causing Aden’s belly to become “jolly”, as JJ put it (he figured it out all by himself too), with occasional discomfort from shifting organs and tiny kicking leg-like appendages.
Our tests have come out clean and the little gestation is healthy so we’re (sort of) comfortable telling people now.
Here’s a little thingamajig Joany had running when little Willow was renting out space between her kidneys. I’m sure Aden will find it creepy looking. Of all the baby-widgets out there, though, this is the least creepy looking.
Oh gods. Not only is it creepy, but I certaintly don’t need something reminding me in DAYS how infernally long this whole pregnancy thing takes…

Is the foetus supposed to spin that much? Ade’s not trapped in a washing machine, is she?

OMG! It’s a tiny geekentette!
Congrats to you both.
Will you be reading comics aloud to Aden’s belly to get baby started on her geekdom?

Thanks all. We’re extremely happy.
GAK - judging by all the movement Aden says is going on in her belly I think the little 2001 space baby is indeed rotating like a satellite.
Marmy - great idea. I’ll get started tonight :P
Joany - you’re a peach! whatever you’re willing to pass along we’re willing to accept :)

Just wondering…Jet is named for Jet Li. Are you going to convince Adrienne to let you name the little girl Michelle for Ms. Yeoh?
Because we know you luv you some Michelle Yeoh.

Marmy, Michelle is actually my middle name, the middle name of one of my aunts, and is the first name of one of my cousins. So, it’s a little too popular in my family to use again :)
