[...consumed all new/anew #6] Scrubs

Filed under: ...consumed all new, ...consumed anew — Tags: — admin @ 10:02 am

Caught both a repeat episode and a new ep tonight while loading up the
cube van with a second haul. The early one was a good one guesting MJ
Fox while the latter one was somewhat amusing but reaffirmed my belief
that the last good season was the fourth.

[...i ate #6] gatorade

Gord, i’m tired. Moving day sure takes it out of you and the only way
to get it back in you is to drink a sports drink…like gatorade here.
Gatorade, because there are no drinks specially formulated for moving
day.

[...learned #6] anew

Filed under: ...learned, this blog — Tags: — Graig @ 1:10 pm

“Anew” means pretty much the same thing as “Again”. I started having my suspicions a couple days ago but confirmed it today. I’ve updated the posts and the category to read as the clunkier “Consumed All New” instead of the much catchier “Consumed Anew”. But I prefer “Anew” to “Again” anyway so now “Consumed Again” is “Consumed Anew”. Clear? Better to learn this now than 364 posts in I say.

[...about me #6] nightwalking

Filed under: ...about me — Tags: — Graig @ 12:54 pm

I do weird things in my sleep. When I was single I wouldn’t really notice that I did such things, although sometimes I’d wake up and wonder why something was moved or why I was partially dressed. Married now, Aden reminds me of the things I’ve done in the morning. Often they involve vibrant dreams which I think are real, dreams which take place in a sort of real time, where I’m sleeping in bed only to open my eyes and see something, or to hear something in the distance, or to think of something urgent that must be done. It’s often nonsensical, like the one time I bolted upright, switched on the light and said loudly “did you see it?”, waking my wife up, only to have her ask “see what?” and then I lay down and go back to sleep, leaving her to turn the light off. The other night I slept on the opposite side of the bed, so Aden wouldn’t have to trip over boxes when she got up early in the morning, and it just threw me off all night. At one point I got up and was rummaging through my dresser searching for a pair of underwear. Aden asked why I was doing it, and while I don’t think I explained to her why, I seem to recall thinking someone was outside the bedroom waiting to greet me and I should put a pair of underwear on. I woke up this morning wondering briefly (pun!) why I was wearing underwear and, in a rare instance I recalled this half-sleepwalking incident.
